We invite Cal PhD students from select disciplines (see details below) to apply for either or both of the following programs:
1) NSF funded Computational Research for Equity in Legal Systems (CRELS)
2) NIH funded Computational Social Science Training Program (CSSTP)
The CRELS program supports students conducting research around the legal system, AI, and data sciences while the CSSTP program supports students studying health and the social determinants of health in the social and behavioral sciences.
The goal of the two fellowships is to build a multidisciplinary community at Berkeley and beyond that integrates the intellectual frameworks and methods of their disciplines with data science tools to advance what we’re calling computational social science. The programs will create an intellectual community where all students can thrive and learn from one another.
Deadline to apply: 28th April 2025 | Monday
Questions: Join us for a zoom information call on Apr 16 and 17 at 1 pm.
