Amanda was a part of the first cohort of Graduate Fellows at CRELS!

Amanda Glazer joined The University of Texas at Austin in 2024 as an assistant professor. Prior to joining UT, she earned her PhD in Statistics from UC Berkeley. Her research focuses on developing causal inference and nonparametric methods, and associated software and tools, that address real scientific problems. Luyi was a part of the first cohort of Graduate Fellows at CRELS!

Luyi Jian is an Assistant Professor in the School of Criminal Justice. Her work involves three interrelated areas: (a) understanding behavioral change mechanisms among youth to promote more prosocial engagement; (b) exploring strength-based interventions and services for justice-involved youth; and (c) using data science to analyze the impact of justice policies on individuals and families.
